Maria adored black magic! Her father and mother tried to dissuade her from her passion and marry her off as soon as possible.

But their daughter didn’t care about any of the men around her—unless he was a real prince. Now, if such a man decided to court a witch who could easily claim the title of the most beautiful woman in the neighborhood, that would be a different story!

Maria even tried searching for her dream prince on her own. She went to parties with her friends, visited clubs, and even tried online dating. Alas, all her attempts ended in failure.

Black Magic for Love

One day, inspiration struck—Maria decided to use black magic! She planned to summon a spirit who could tell her where to find her soulmate.

For this, she needed maracas, a bottle of wine, Montezuma’s tortilla, and a fresh skull—it was crucial that the skull retained its shape and didn’t have more holes than necessary!

Everyone tried to unravel the mystery of the fresh grave! Señor Fernandez, Don Juan, Captain Garcia, Luis-Alberto, and other distinguished dead men rose from their graves just to witness the strange phenomenon.

The spirits even tried to contact Diego, hoping for an explanation, but he didn’t respond—almost as if he had disappeared completely, rather than simply resting in eternal slumber.

Maria went to the cemetery, taking the skull with her. The spirit guided her to Diego’s grave and showed her the bizarre game. Intrigued, she began to study it. Each time the symbols on the tombstone changed, gold coins fell at her feet.

Delighted, Maria stuffed money into her pockets, her bra, and even shoved some into the green skull—though it was extremely displeased at being used as a piggy bank.
