A Bone-Chilling Tale of Princes and a Cemetery
Maria just couldn’t find a real prince. So, she turned to black magic—and got rich in the most unexpected way!
If She’s Getting Married, It’s Only to a Prince
Maria adored black magic! Her father and mother tried to dissuade her from her passion and marry her off as soon as possible.
But their daughter didn’t care about any of the men around her—unless he was a real prince. Now, if such a man decided to court a witch who could easily claim the title of the most beautiful woman in the neighborhood, that would be a different story!
Maria even tried searching for her dream prince on her own. She went to parties with her friends, visited clubs, and even tried online dating. Alas, all her attempts ended in failure.
Black Magic for Love
One day, inspiration struck—Maria decided to use black magic! She planned to summon a spirit who could tell her where to find her soulmate.
For this, she needed maracas, a bottle of wine, Montezuma’s tortilla, and a fresh skull—it was crucial that the skull retained its shape and didn’t have more holes than necessary!
Maria baked a flatbread, carving magical symbols into it, then bought a bottle of wine from the store across the street. Closer to midnight, she headed to the cemetery. She persuaded the gravedigger to fetch her a skull, paying him with a kiss.
Back home, Maria briefly wondered if she was walking the fine line between being an honest girl and something else entirely—but she quickly dismissed the thought. She had a ritual to perform!
The Cemetery’s Biggest Mystery
Maria recited the incantation, hoping to learn where to find her true love. As soon as she finished, the skull turned green, and blinking eyes appeared in its empty sockets.
The summoned spirit listened to her request and agreed to help—but only if she could solve the cemetery’s most puzzling mystery.
Recently, a musician named Diego had been buried there. He was a talented guitarist who loved tequila. His instrument had been left by his grave. But the night after his burial, the spirits, out for their usual stroll, noticed something strange: a mysterious game with colorful stones had appeared on Diego’s tombstone.
No Love, Just Loads of Money
Everyone tried to unravel the mystery of the fresh grave! Señor Fernandez, Don Juan, Captain Garcia, Luis-Alberto, and other distinguished dead men rose from their graves just to witness the strange phenomenon.
The spirits even tried to contact Diego, hoping for an explanation, but he didn’t respond—almost as if he had disappeared completely, rather than simply resting in eternal slumber.
Maria went to the cemetery, taking the skull with her. The spirit guided her to Diego’s grave and showed her the bizarre game. Intrigued, she began to study it. Each time the symbols on the tombstone changed, gold coins fell at her feet.
To Hell with the Prince!
Delighted, Maria stuffed money into her pockets, her bra, and even shoved some into the green skull—though it was extremely displeased at being used as a piggy bank.
While wandering among the graves, she found an old bag that had somehow ended up there.
Of course, she tried to understand the logic behind the strange game. But after a while, she gave up—who cared about solving some cemetery puzzle when she had become a rich woman with more gold than she knew what to do with?
Maria told the skull she no longer needed its help and headed home, already planning how to spend her newfound fortune.
And guess what? You can visit Diego’s grave too—and try your luck at the mysterious game!
