Guardians of the Law

The Wild West has never been a peaceful place. One fine day, it was inhabited by dogs, but even then, the number of crimes did not decrease. Most of the dogs were law-abiding; however, there were also renegades who dreamed of easy bones. They were unwilling to toil on a farm and had no intention of working hard in the mines; they simply wanted to take what wasn’t theirs, pretending that it was their right!

Sheriffs appeared in towns to curb lawlessness and punish criminals. If it weren’t for these guys, the Wild West would have turned into a real den of iniquity! Dogtown was no exception…

Accurate and Unbribable

Sheriff Woof was an accurate shooter and had earned a reputation as a terror to criminals. Any villain planning to steal bones, engage in an unfair duel, or pull off any similar stunt had better think twice!

The sheriff shot exceptionally well. Moreover, he adhered strictly to the letter of the law, so no one could bribe him. If Woof caught a villain, punishment was inevitable.

Wealthy White

A dog named White conducted his affairs properly. He became one of the richest residents of Dogtown – it is said that his basement housed mounds of various bones!

All of them were gnawed to perfection. Each of these bones was worth a fortune in food. A substantial portion of his wealth was kept in the bank. That’s where the bandits decided to strike and take advantage of the rich townsman’s goods.

A Quiet Robbery

The thugs sneaked into the bank at night. They quietly subdued the guard without raising a fuss. The safe contained White’s belongings and a few bones belonging to local farmers.

Naturally, the bandits took everything. They loaded the loot into a cart and left town in an unknown direction.

The Criminal Family

In the morning, bank employees discovered the dead guard and the opened safe, then reported everything to the sheriff. After inspecting the crime scene, the lawman began his investigation.

Judging by the distinctive handwriting, the bank was robbed by the Hound Family – one of the most notorious gangs in the Wild West, which had already made visits to the Dogtown area on several occasions. Of course, Woof understood that sooner or later these dogs would show up in his town as well…

The Sheriff Follows the Trail

The Hound Family consisted of four criminals: Bonnie – a mad pincher who was a true expert in reconnaissance and could sniff out anything, Jack – a sharpshooter who wore a bandolier around his neck, card shark Ralph, and Buster Bones – the gang leader, for whom a particularly generous bounty was offered. Sheriff Woof wanted to make the world a better place by ridding it of villains and wasn’t averse to earning a pile of bones. After finishing his inspection of the crime scene, he commenced his manhunt.

The sheriff found an informant who worked for him and interviewed him to learn about everything happening in town. The informant couldn’t say exactly where to find the Hound Family’s hideout, but he definitely knew one thing – the cave was located in the Grand Canyon! And the lawman set off, hoping to capture the cursed robbers.

The Bandits’ Hideout

Sheriff Woof decided to scour the Grand Canyon thoroughly. Finally, he managed to find a cave next to which stood a cart of bones, polished to a shine. The sheriff deduced that the gang was holed up inside, and part of the stolen loot was left outside – apparently, there was not enough room inside! However, that was now of little importance…

What worried the sheriff much more was how he could single-handedly shoot down four thugs?! Perhaps you will stand on the side of the law and help deliver justice? If so, the sheriff will share with you the bounty placed on their heads!
