Welcome to the Colosseum! Four of the greatest warriors will battle for a chest of gold, glory, and honor…
Gold for the Champion
Once again, Caesar has announced the start of the annual gladiator games, sending waves of excitement through millions of Roman citizens. Of course, they will gather to witness the brave warriors clash in combat for the ultimate imperial reward—this year, the champion will claim a massive chest of gold!
As always, the ranks of gladiators are diverse: slaves, freedmen, soldiers, mercenaries, and barbarians—all seeking the prestigious title and the riches that Caesar has generously offered to the most skilled fighter. This year, the combatants will face only human opponents. The beasts have been reserved for intermediate battles, as the last games saw too many lions slain, leaving the amphitheater in need of restocking its roaring warriors.
Team Battles – The Season’s Trend
Caesar has decreed that gladiators will fight in teams of two. The Colosseum’s overseer personally selected the pairs, ensuring matchups that would provide the crowd with the most thrilling spectacle. His years of experience observing warriors of all kinds made him the perfect choice to execute the emperor’s will.
This year’s games featured twenty battles, with eighty skilled fighters stepping into the arena. Some met their end, joining their ancestors, while others were severely wounded and spared only by the mercy of the roaring crowd. But a select few made it to the final battle!
Now, two teams remain. Four mighty warriors will fight to determine who is the most skilled combatant. In the end, there will be two victors—they will share Caesar’s gold.
The Wealthy Roman and the Destitute Slave
The first team consists of a trident-wielding gladiator and a spearman who also carries a dagger as a secondary weapon. They have proven themselves to be fierce warriors and have won the favor of the crowd! The gladiator with the trident wears a golden helmet—he is the son of one of Rome’s wealthiest citizens, seeking the thrill of battle. And where else could he find it if not in the Colosseum?
His partner is a Moor, once a slave, but freed by Caesar himself last year. Though he had the right to leave the Colosseum, he chose to stay. The arena had become his new life, one he would never trade for anything else.
The True Soldier and the Fearless Warrior Woman
Their opponents are just as deadly. One is a soldier from the Roman army, a master swordsman! With Caesar not waging any conquests for some time, the soldier has felt the pain of watching his blade rust away in peacetime. Besides, in these peaceful times, soldiers must live off their meager wages.
Fighting alongside him is an Amazon warrior. She was brought from Gaul alongside other barbarians. She wields a variety of weapons with expert skill, as her people consider combat the most vital craft—those who cannot fight are destined for slavery or death, rendering their lives meaningless from the start.
Let the Battle Begin!
These warriors have cut down countless men and beasts alike, some of which were far more dangerous than any human opponent. The final battle is about to begin—all that remains is to press the spin button and immerse yourself in the world of gladiators! And if luck is on your side, you might not be the only one walking away with a prize!
