When the police are powerless against criminals, superheroes step in! The Harbingers of the Crimson Moon will punish those who break the law…
When the Police Are Powerless and Bought
Over the past few years, Midland has turned into a hellhole due to rising crime, according to official documents. In reality, crime has simply overwhelmed the city! The police did nothing because the leaders of criminal gangs had bought off the law enforcers completely.
However, even if the cops suddenly stopped eating donuts and became incorruptible to a man, it still wouldn’t change anything. The police simply couldn’t stand up to the criminals. Moreover, if the criminal groups united, they would likely take over the entire city.
The Grand Heist
Fortunately, in the world of crime, everyone is out for themselves, so the legitimate government remained in place. On the other hand, Mad Fry and Grave were already working together—the leaders of two major criminal gangs had robbed the First National Bank, cleaning out the vault completely. They took the money by force. They killed the guards, took hostages, and took everything stored behind the huge iron door, which they successfully blew up. The bandits took millions in cash and gold bars.
The Arms Baron
Mad Fry was involved in arms dealing and robberies. He supplied many criminal groups and was well-known in Midland’s underworld.
Mad Fry preferred to work on a large scale, meaning if someone needed to buy a Beretta or a Desert Eagle, they’d better choose another seller. Otherwise, this crazy guy might just shoot them for fun.
The Science Enthusiast
Grave adored scientific gadgets, cybernetic enhancements, and mechanical devices, like the steel tentacles he wore on his back. Thanks to his favorite technological toy, he could do many things at once, such as counting money, torturing someone, cracking a safe, and giving orders to his men over the radio. Mad Fry was simply delighted when he saw how his colleague worked while they were robbing the First National Bank.
The Harbingers of the Crimson Moon
The situation in Midland had become critical. If the criminals continued to unite, the regular army would have to be called in! Although that was unlikely—they would probably continue to work independently, and the government would simply be bought off to let them carry out their dark deeds.
Meanwhile, there were those who couldn’t be bought—two heroes capable of standing up to murderers, robbers, arms dealers, and other dark figures. No one knew their names. They were a man and a woman who called themselves the Harbingers of the Crimson Moon. Both heroes were skilled in martial arts, excellent shots, and could dodge bullets. They regularly appeared on the streets of Midland to put away those who didn’t follow the law.
Time to Fight Crime!
The bandits were ready to shower anyone with gold who could deliver the harbingers of justice, dead or alive. At first, there were plenty of takers, but later, when it became clear that the heroes weren’t easy to catch, the enthusiasm of those seeking easy money waned.
Tonight, one of the Harbingers of the Crimson Moon will go out on the hunt again. Surely, the hero will catch a big fish! Who knows, it might be Mad Fry, Grave himself, or someone else from the kings of the criminal world. In any case, you’ll have the chance to participate and win a lot of money!
