The Beautiful Garden of Doulito
Doulito has truly worked wonders! His garden is magnificent, yet a cunning fox has resolved to spoil everything… Help rid the garden of this fiery-haired scoundrel!
Uncle’s Inheritance
On an otherwise bleak day, Doulito received a letter informing him that the executor of his beloved uncle’s estate had passed away. Additionally, the nephew inherited a charming cottage and a plot of land. Naturally, Doulito did not refuse this gift of fate.
The cottage was quite decent, but the land was an utter disaster! Doulito gazed around in disbelief. His uncle, to put it mildly, had neglected his estate: the pond had turned into a murky, overgrown puddle, shrubs sprang up haphazardly here and there, alongside all manner of weeds. No one had tended the soil for ten years or more…
Two in One
Doulito aspired to transform his property into a flourishing garden or vegetable patch, though the sheer volume of work was enough to drive anyone mad. Yet, our hero was not one to seek easy ways out. He set to work: first clearing the shrubs, then cleaning the pond, and finally pulling the weeds—in short, after a week of tireless labor, the plot was entirely renewed.
Surveying the fruits of his efforts, the owner decided this space would serve as both garden and vegetable patch. After all, why not? Many garden plants coexist splendidly with vegetables!
The Green Menace
Doulito planted orchard trees, which flourished exponentially thanks to a special fertilizer acquired from a wizard acquaintance. This fertilizer also benefited various vegetable crops, enabling the hero to reap an excellent harvest within a few months.
One fine morning, Doulito went for a stroll around his estate and was met with a surprise—a huge green toad had taken up residence in the pond, croaking loudly! It showed no intention of leaving the blossoming garden, despite the owner’s insistence.
A Peaceful Accord
However, once Doulito took up his hoe, the toad calmed down. The unwelcome visitor of the flourishing garden promised to abstain from eating berries and to remain silent, as if she were not even there.
And so it was settled—the peaceable owner refrained from chasing away the croaking creature, despite its rather unappealing appearance. In fact, sitting by the pond, the toad blended quite naturally into the scene.
The Fiery Scoundrel
Time passed and Doulito gathered harvest after harvest. Eventually, his barn was filled to overflowing. All that remained was to take the surplus and sell it to good people. This was exactly his intention, but an unpleasant surprise upended all the gardener’s plans…
One day, he noticed that fruits in the garden and vegetables had been nibbled, and half of the berry bushes were suddenly barren. Evidently, a thief had ventured here, indulging himself without restraint. Doulito asked the toad if she had seen anyone, and she told him about the fox.
Try to Catch the Vile Thief
The owner of the beautiful garden resolved to track down the wicked ginger thief. What astonished him most was the fox’s appetite for vegetables and fruits! Perhaps the cunning rascal was a vegetarian? If so, it was understandable why he ventured into Doulito’s domain, even though his neighbor’s barn was crammed with various livestock, including plump, well-fed chickens.
Yet capturing the fox proved anything but easy: the sly creature was extraordinarily agile and incredibly fast. The fox dashed through the garden like lightning, mocking the gardener and nibbling everything in sight. Doulito chased after him, brandishing his hoe, but it was futile—trying to catch the brazen scamp…
Help Punish the Brat!
Now the fox invades the garden almost daily. Doulito would give anything to rid himself of this cursed pest! At one point, the gardener despaired and offered a reward for the fox’s fiery head.
Or at least for its permanent disappearance from his land. Help Doulito get rid of the fox, and he will reward you generously!
