Skeletons play music just as well as the living! And each performance by these guys brings the audience a bunch of money!
The frail old woman
On a Friday evening, Sanchez went to a bar to drink tequila. He had a good time with his friends, and then they all safely went home.
On his way back, Sanchez met a lonely old woman who asked for help crossing the road, although it seemed quite simple – there were hardly any cars in the evening, so there was not much to be afraid of. Nevertheless, a true macho man helped the lady.
Strange gratitude
When the old woman’s foot stepped onto the sidewalk, she asked Sanchez to escort her home. He seemed like a reliable person she could trust! And anything can happen at night – who knows, maybe a completely shameless robber could attack a lonely elderly lady…
The old woman lived just one block away. Sanchez walked her all the way home. The companion wanted to thank the “real man” – she asked him to wait and disappeared behind the door. Soon the hostess returned with a sheet of paper covered in black scribbles. The old woman pointed with her crooked finger at the letters and advised him to use it when money troubles began.
Miracles from the world of magic
Sanchez thanked the old eccentric and went home. The next day, having slept well, he figured out what was written on the sheet – it was some kind of ritual through which one could get a bunch of money from ancestors.
Judging by the old woman’s notes, the magical ritual only worked on big holidays. And in a couple of days, there was about to be a celebration of the three hundredth anniversary of the glorious city of Buenos Nakos! It seemed that Lady Fate herself was urging him to test what grandma’s witchcraft was capable of…
Forget the party, time to work
The next day, Sanchez didn’t go out to have fun with friends, pretending to be sick. Instead of partying, he prepared for the ritual, which was to be performed after eleven o’clock at night.
He had to make an altar, prepare photos of ancestors, and buy everything else – candles, tequila, wine, and roses. It only remained to move the altar outside and arrange everything exactly as the old woman wrote. After struggling all day, Sanchez promised himself he would throw a stone through the elderly lady’s window if her stuff turned out to be a dud.
On stage, the spirits of the ancestors
After eleven at night, the altar appeared in Sanchez’s yard, naturally with the owner’s help, who arranged the photos, laid out the flowers, poured drinks into glasses, and read the incantation. As soon as he finished, skeletons sat down at the altar and began playing musical instruments so well, as if they were real stars! Some of their heads began exploding, and gold appeared in Sanchez’s pockets…
The skeleton concert lasted almost half an hour. When Sanchez started to worry that someone might poke their curious nose into the empty yard and see too much, the spirits stopped playing. The skeletons’ heads loudly “popped,” and no new ones appeared.
Glory to the dead musicians
The concert ended more than successfully! Sanchez hurried home with pockets full of gold. Then he returned for the altar, which he dragged home and hid in the basement. He blessed the old woman who crossed his path! And Sanchez realized that now he would never have money problems again. He only needed to learn the ritual by heart, just in case something happened to the paper!
