This Christmas, Santa isn’t arriving with gifts. If you need them, come to his concert and listen to the rock stars play!
The Hard Work of Santa Claus
Oh, how arduous Santa’s job is! Every year on Christmas Eve, he hops into his sleigh and sets off to deliver presents. Santa’s journey takes him all around the world—he must visit every corner of the planet. But time is short—he needs to deliver all the gifts in just one night.
Of course, magic helps Santa work quickly, but it does nothing to ease the heavy labor he endures during Christmas. The holder of the world’s most splendid beard grows incredibly weary. Upon returning home, Santa doesn’t celebrate Christmas like everyone else—oh no, nothing of the sort! He downs a glass of whiskey in one gulp and collapses onto his bed, utterly exhausted. The holiday for this tired worker begins only after a long sleep, which lasts at least twelve hours.
Why live like this…
One day, Santa grew wearier than usual. Awakening after a particularly heavy night, he decided he could take no more! He was tired of working like a dog.
And the elves were completely worn out as well—Santa’s helpers had to pack thousands of gifts and then load them onto the sleigh. The reindeer, led by Rudolph, who had to haul this load through the night sky, also dreamed of retiring soon. In short, Santa and all his helpers categorically refused to labor all through the night.
The Rock Stars Faded
On the other hand, people had to receive their presents. Santa was willing to deliver what was owed to them, according to the ancient Christmas tradition, but only if they would come and collect it themselves!
In addition, people were looking forward to a rock concert where Santa would perform alongside his helpers. In his distant youth, when he had neither a belly nor a beard, he was an excellent player in a promising musical band. However, due to disputes, the band broke up, and Santa’s rock star career, which had only just begun, abruptly ended.
Invitations to the Rock Concert
As Christmas approached, magical spirits sent invitations to all who wished to receive a gift. While they flew around the world, stuffing envelopes into mailboxes, the elves constructed a massive stage. They also had to find an immense tree in the forest, at least a thousand years old, to place all the gifts beneath.
Santa retrieved the equipment, tools, and even dragged out a few things from his garage—a pair of electric guitars that had gathered dust for many years but still worked perfectly. The owner immediately tested the instruments, cranking out a couple of outrageous riffs, much to the elves’ indescribable delight.
To Avoid a Fight
On the eve of the holiday, Santa Claus’s helpers piled the gifts under the tree. They affixed labels with the recipients’ names to each package; otherwise, good luck figuring out who should get what! Otherwise, people would surely start brawling over the same gift—the festive concert could turn into a massive brawl rivaling the scale of World War II.
It’s Time to Celebrate!
Santa and his helpers took to the stage to play. Rock stars were already awaited by the people who had received invitations. Of course, not everyone was present—perhaps the rest would show up later.
Have a Blast!
And if you don’t have an invitation, don’t worry—something will surely be found under the tree. You probably don’t have that piece of paper, right? But that won’t stop you from joining everyone else.
Come to Santa Claus’s concert, where he’ll show everyone how true rock stars play! Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to find a very valuable gift under the tree; for example, a sack of gold…
