Gangs of the Wild West
Across the Wild West, dozens of armed to the teeth gangs prowl. Desperate adventurers dream of easy riches, duels, shootouts, saloon parties, and flirtations. Some gangs rob trains, others kill and hunt for bounties, while the Wildos Brothers focus on bank heists. These three daring desperados simply adored money! And where might the brothers find their true passion? Of course, in the bank, where abundant treasures await.
The Criminal Trio of the Wildos Brothers
The triplets from the Wildos gang looked as alike as three droplets of water. They could only be distinguished by the coloured handkerchiefs they wore, with the help of which the outlaws concealed their faces. The brother with the red handkerchief was an incredible sharpshooter, able to single-handedly eliminate an entire squad of lawmen pursuing him.
The brother with the green handkerchief was an expert in explosives; he always knew where to find the most powerful bomb or a hefty charge of dynamite—essential tools during bank heists. The third brother, sporting a blue bandana, played the banjo. Yet, he was valued by the gang not for his musical skills, but for his reconnaissance abilities, often devising intricate robbery plans so clever that even the devil himself would be amazed.
The Day of Reckoning Has Arrived
Once, the Wildos brothers embarked on a daring heist. Unfortunately, they fell into an ambush; the sheriff and his deputies seemed to know exactly who to expect. The Wildos were captured alive. The gang appeared before the court in its entirety. The daring outlaws were sentenced to hang, but later the judge showed mercy, replacing the death penalty with a sentence of life in prison. Ironically, the brothers were to serve their sentence in a prison located directly across from the bank they tried to rob.
The brothers were imprisoned. After a few months behind bars, they devised a bold escape plan, taking advantage of the fact that the prison warden was a corrupt rat willing to betray anything for money. The bandits promised the warden a hefty amount of gold and revealed the location of one of their hidden stashes. The other half of the reward awaited the jailer upon the prisoners’ successful escape.
The Prison Warden Let Everyone Down
Unfortunately, the “rat” got cold feet. The prison warden decided to keep half of the promised gold for himself, leaving the other half for the desert coyotes. He decided to not take any risks, knowing full well that anyone helping dangerous criminals escape would face a different reward—either a hemp collar or a bullet from the sheriff’s revolver.
The Wildos brothers were deeply disappointed by this turn of events. They were already planning how to rob the bank right across from the prison, which taunted them with its sign. They imagined as they would ride off into the sunset with sacks of gold on their shoulders, firing their revolvers in the air recklessly. But reality was far less joyful—now these desperate gunslingers faced the grim prospect of rotting behind bars until their inevitable demise.
A Path to Freedom
However, the smartest of the brothers, the one wearing a blue bandana, devised another plan that would enable the prisoners to attain their freedom. Moreover, it would give them the chance to rob the bank! Yet, the bandits still needed a reliable and trustworthy ally. Of course, the Wildos brothers would share the loot! And in the process, they would also take revenge on the treacherous rat who had stole half of the gold but failed to fulfill his part of the bargain.
